Non-Discrimination/Harassment Free Environment Notice

 

Mana Academy Academy Charter School is committed to creating a learning environment that is free from harassment and discrimination as defined by Utah Administrative Code R277-609:

 

“Harassment and discrimination free learning” is defined as “a learning environment in which a student is treated fairly regardless of the student’s characteristics including race, color, religion, or sex, and in which a student’s ability to participate in or benefit from the services, activities, or opportunities offered is not limited or interfered with by conduct that is physically threatening, harmful, or humiliating.” 

 

Mana  Academy Charter School prohibits discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment), or retaliation on the basis of race, color, sex, pregnancy, religion, national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other legally protected classification in all educational programs, activities, admissions, access, treatment, or employment practices. Related inquiries and complaints may be directed to a school administrator.
